Yeah guys, Kim and I discussed this and enjoyed the use of the garage on the previous day. Anyone who wants to store stuff in the garage, more than welcome, just pay the fee. So far there are 3 of us chipping in.

Heslo and i will be splitting a garage between us ($110 total for one garage - yes, it's expensive - i know) but the more people who chip in, the cheaper it is for those who need to use it to store their stuff. it will be a separate cost from your course fee. $10 per person will make this plan viable.

How come it is $110 per garage when it was $25 on the October trackday? Seems a bit of a steep price hike! Does 1 garage equal the complete shed ie 3 cars can fit underneath it? Even so that would have been $75 less than a month ago.

i'm not entirely sure - that's what John Bowe Driving have quoted me for one garage. i think that it may be a triple bay garage for $110 as you can't exactly close off the other two bays if you have one roller door up.

i understand that the package that Clem did for Adrian's private trackday included the garages. i don't know what Adrian was charging the guys on the October day for the use of the garages - can anyone confirm that?

either way, we've got at least half a dozen people on the list now, so $10pp takes the load off me and Luke. thanks guys!

^^^^ The recent private track day included two sheds (6 car bays) and if you wanted more beyond that they were $25 each (for 1 car space I believe but George aka Adelaideprosound may be able to confirm this as I believe he was the only person to pay for an extra bay).

Yay I have my GTR back... for 4 days. It's had a change of brake fluid, oil catch can connected and new clamps around the intercooler. I also bought 2x 20L Fuel Safe containers (the black ones Kim) & 2 bottles of octane booster. The car was clean but today's rain has ruined that. Other than that I just need to fill 'erup and Robert's your mother's brother.

i didnt charge anything for garages!? all i knew is that they were open?!

I meant that you (as in anyone) could purchased the extra bays off of the lady who took the paperwork and the cash for the CAMS licence. Nothing to do with you Adrian.

ahh yeh.. clem said it was $25 a shed, whether it be a whole 3bay shed or not.. but when i was like can we use the second shed they were like yeh just open it up!

i dunno why they're charging the John Bowe Driving guys $110 a shed then! that's a bit much given your info on this Adrian. and that was their cost on to me. i will investigate more over the weekend but won't really have an answer till we get there on Monday.

my advice = don't bring unnecessary shit on the day. it's not like you'll be rebuilding your car throughout the day. you should be able to turn up, have a great day on the track, and then drive home without having to wrestle with stuff during the event. random mechanical failures and accidents should be the exceptions to the day. the purpose of having the extra garages was for extra storage, shelter from the elements, and those "just in case" scenarios. if we can't get the additional space, then i'm sure that we can cope.

Switched over to my track wheels this morning (2mm clearance between the wheel spokes caliper on the front, had me sweating abit.. worried i would have to run spacers), 255/40/17's all around.. no more sliding about hopefully, and got the coil cover off to vent the coils.. that's pretty much my track prep done

Heslo has suggested breakfast / coffee from 6am at Vili's and then meet at City Dismantlers at 7am for a 730am departure. see you all at either meet point or up at Mallala.

the drivers' briefing is from 0830am at the paddock - everyone will need to be there at the time for course registration.

helmet + fuel + tire pressures + metal valve caps + tighten all wheel nuts = all set!

depending on what time i finish work, i might wander over to vili's and see everyone off.

I think I'm working out north tomorrow so may make a quick pit stop for breakfast and catch up with the boys too
