Gtr Lsd Problem

Help please...

I have a 1996 S2 GTST, which came standard with a GTR Diff. The LSD function doesn't work and I think it is because I am only getting 4 volts to the pump. Any thoughts on a cause and or does someone have the wiring diagram so I can have the problem diagnosed. Regards, enjojymysky

Doesn't make sense.

GT-R LSD is mechanical, not electrical, AFAIK. I think you are having a problem with voltage to the HICAS motor.

I believe he might be refering to the A-LSD ! enjoymysky see the sticky at the begining of this thread on A-LSDs in GTSTs !

Thanks for replying, and now my lack of knowledge of Skylines will be known to everyone.

If the GTR diff in my GTST is infact mechanical, there must be something else causng the slippage. Any ideas?

P.S. My car has had the HICAS removed. Does the hydolics only serve the HICAS?
