as long as the custom plates arnt completley different colour scheem to the car they would be good (IMO)

Sorry for off topic guys, and a noob question, new to australia

I saw some cars that have 'SA' custom plates here in VIC. and their plates are actually just a black color plastic with white(or silver) words printed inside but not the usual metal plates. May i know is that another customize or its illegal ? because i only found some metal ones online

and can a VIC resident order a new SA plate ? Thx

In SA anything but the metal plates issued by Transport SA are illegal.

No, if you live in VIC you can't have SA plates unless you have a postal address here in SA .... and technically that is not even legal, as there is a time limit a car can be in a different state before you are supposed to change the rego over. It is not particularly policed though to my knowledge (cops are too busy defecting us for dangerous illegal mods like pod filters and blow-off valves).
