Help!

hey dudes, my dad saw me take off yesterday morning and he told me that when i accelerated, a small amount of bluish black smoke puffed out of my exhaust..

my car IS running rich, but he seems to think its the oil rings needing replacing.

sometimes when i floor it or drop second i see a large puff in my rear view mirror, but otherwise it only puffs smoke in the morning, and its only a small amount.

any ideas/tips/help??

Blue smoke = burning oil, black smoke = rich mixture.

As well as rings, oil can escape past valve stem seals and turbo seals AFAIK.

I had the same problem with my 89" gtst and i was queit concerned but in the end it was excess oil from a previous oil leak that was burning off the exhaust
