Defect Station On Boundary Rd !

Recommended Posts

Be Warn,

The usual defect station on Boundary Rd near Lower Dandy road is now pulling cars over. They used to target Trucks only but they now must have gotten bored and start pulling cars over as well.

I just got pulled over and almost got a big fine if it wasn't for this TOP COP.

I was driving my sister's car, the rego just expired (1 day), there is slightly camber wear on the inner wall of the tyre. This young COP was ready to book me then the old fella said nah, don't worry i wouldn't do it. The old fella then told me he's letting me go this time but he wouldn't like to see the car again under the same condition.

Mind you i was going to explain but i didn't need to anyway, the rego is PAID i just haven't been bother sticking it on, the tyre was worn but very very lightly.

Hats off to you Sir, its people like you that make us change our attitude toward the law enforcement !!!

Mate I would do a check and if car unreg even 1 day. I would issue a fine it's one of the few things we have NO leaniency with. Unreg= No TAC/INS coverage. If it was paid fair enough. I really couldn't care about issuing defects unless car in really bad/dangerous way or owned by known crooks.
