Like the topic says, i started my car up this afternoon and like always waited for a min or two to warm up and drove of..

2 mins down the rode i heard a dead spot in acceleration like it wanted to stall or something.

Then i pulled over and revved it a little and it wouldn't go past 2500rpm with out it wanting to stall.

I have blackish smoke coming out on acceleration now and i have to change gears below 2000rpm.

The car will not go past 2500rpm and was very hard to crawl to mechanic.

I have had the same problem before when i popped the inter cooler piping of several times but i have checked all these connections and there all good.

Any suggestions?? Fuel pump? AFM? any others?? ( doesn't fuel pump make whining noise on ignition anyway and this is heard??))

had brand new injectors, water pump, clutch master cylinder and new radiator fitted in the last 2 weeks.

Check all the obvious things like piping first - but I had a similar problem it was a dry joint in the AFM - there is a DIY for how to fix it

Re-soldered the joint and good as new.
