The Power FC can be tuned on the road with the hand controller but the results wont be as good (or safe) as a dyno tune.

Same really applies to any after market ECUs.

If you want something cheaper though consider the Emanage by Greddy which is a decent piggy back ECU.

For cheapness i reccomend the adaptronic e420C Here in QLD you can get it fitted and tuned for $1150 there is also an option of buying a wideband o2 sensor and putting it in self learn mode and it will attempt to tune itself on the road with out a dyno. Tuning with out visiting a dyno isnt really ideal though

a bloke is trying to sell me an APEXI SAFC II for $250.. i hear these are a great piggy back ecu but the only werid thing is ive seen other apexi safc"s and they look like a little screen with a knob u can adjust various things but this 1 is a little black box with 5-6 knobs that are adjustable?? dogdy or something worth looking into?
