1995 Gtr Brembos V 1990 Gtr Nissan Calipers

hi guys, just wondering if there was any great diffenence between the two as in clamping pressure. i have the nissan gtr calipers, thinking about upgrading to brembos.

really not worth the effort. I used to have to run them on the race car and they are only a minor upgrade, and are too expensive to buy (I saw a set posted for sale here 2700 the other day).

Much better off upgrading to something like the g4/d2/ksport 8 piston calipers over 324 or even better 355mm rotors. about $2k brand new including pads, 2 piece discs, calipers and braided lines

Dont forget if you get the Brembos you'll also need a set of rotors, and you'll probably want some braided lines. For most the G4/D2 are cheaper and perform better.

sounds like an option! do they take ferodo ds series pads? do you need to upgrade the rears? (calipers)

yep they take any pads made for the AP 6 piston calipers....plenty of pads available. I just use the "race" pads that come with them, they have been good enough so I never looked into anything else
