Rear Windshield

Hey guys,

A31 rear glass, is the water seal the same as anything else?

Mine is missing the water seal, and the trim that goes in around is is all f**ked up.

On that note, once the seal is on the glass, and glued down, how does that trim go in? just clip in? or are there points to screw it in that Im not seing?

Lastly, the defogger connections?

One isnt connected, do I just melt it back in with solder?

Autobahn sells a special type of a conductive glue made for defogger connections, its like $20-30. Becareful using solder iron, could damage glass and/or tinit, but dont think solder will stick to glass...

Dont know anything about the trim....

u can also get copper markers for making curcit boards etc

The first connection isfine, just one isnt connected, it looks like there is some solder already on the glass, where all the strips return to, which is why I thought soldering the tab/end of the connection into the metal was how it connected...that, and I thought I'd read somewhere its just soldered in.

Little problems like this are making me consider just selling up the Ceffy would shut alot of people up.

As you said "little problem" you'll fix it. Just keep looking at the light at the end of the tunnel...
