There are old posts about this topic with pics, but the pics dont exist anymore, just the text remains.

Anyway i think ive located the sump (ive never been able to look properly under my car as its too low, but now i can.

It is a tinny metal box thing right at the bottom of the engine bay,

some old posts said there was meant to be plastic sheet covering it from the elements from the underneath, i dont have that.

The thing i think is the sump has a bolt right near the bottom of the sump, but it is off to the drivers side of the sump alittle bit,

it is an r33 gtst with rb25 in it, does that sound like sump plug?

oh its about 14mm bolt aswell

cheers

Yes thats the sump plug

What are you going to do? this sounds scary

hahahah nah just oil change lol, might aswell do it myself since its straight forward... i can empty it right into the storm water graes cant i lol jkz

yeah that sounds like the sump plug. it is usally on one side at about 45 degrees, not on the very bottom of the sump (so it doesn't get broken off and you lose all your oil if the car bottoms out)

kk no probs, thanks. I figured it was but just wanted confirmation lol
