DTSNR32
Nah, I didnt think so. So ill just need to pick up an aftermarket reg and the correct lines and fittings. Next question, do you have to buy the fitting seperate or is there a kit you can pick up and if not does anyone know what size fittings are required. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4838113 Share on other sites
Cjmartz2k
You'll have to buy fittings. I don't know of anybody who makes a kit, but it might be out there. Just look up what the rail and FPR want. I believe I have all -6 stuff. Can you guys order from summit racing down there? I'm a big fan of the Aeromotive stuff, especially their FPR's. I don't really like the Sard or ESPECIALLY the Nismo FPR's. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4838130 Share on other sites
DTSNR32
Alrighty guys sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. Could someone tell me where all the lines go and what other fittings ill need other than the ones listed. So far ive gathered ill need 2 x 90degree -6 fittings 1 x 120degree -6 fitting 1 x Y piece but not sure if its also -6 and if a barb on each end. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys, Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4900693 Share on other sites
Cjmartz2k
The two ends are the feeds, the midle is the return, which goes into the side port on the FPR. Bottom of the FPR goes back to the tank. Vacuum into the top of the FPR. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4900730 Share on other sites
shanef
cheapest way to do it would be to only have 1 feed into the fuel rail, block the centre port and have the line to the reg from the other end of the rail. Otherwise you'll need a y block which splits the single fuel line that runs under the car into two -6 lines that feed each end of the rail. I buy most of my fittings from www.summitracing.com as it usually works out to be the cheapest (delivery is usually between 4-7days). The other place i use is www.mscn.com.au if i need fittings the next day (overnight express post) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4900767 Share on other sites
DTSNR32
Not to fused about the price as ill buy all the fittings through my work. Now the line that comes from the bottom of the FPR which goes to the tank how long does that line have to be and what fitting would be on the end of it to join ( fuel tank end ). Any links to what the y block connection will be like Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288888-hks-fuel-rail/#findComment-4900822 Share on other sites

Line length approx. 1m. These are the y block's i use - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-100181ERL and then you just use a 3/8 NPT barb fitting on the other end and run rubber hose between the fuel filter and the std hard tubing.
