i know its kind of obvious but it sounds like you might have blown a fuse. check all the fuses and if they are all fine then you may have a short somewhere in your wiring. you may have to rip out most of the dash to find it but hopefully its just at the back of your head unit somewhere.

i just fixed up my mates stuffup with installing his headunit and sub. he didnt solder any wires and he missed a few all together. make sure any wires you dont find a use for get some electrical tape around the ends to stop them shorting on anything.

The Clock Died whilst connecting the Wires to the New Head Unit. Has this happend to anyone else? also the Air Conditioning Contols have Died. Cant figure out What happend. Need Help

it`s a 10amp fuse you have earthed power wire at some time during installation

have done it once or twice my self

yep...i did the same just recently..was using my pocket knife to slice some elec tape on the constant power line. Fried the clock.....15amp fuse

How difficult is the Stock R32 headunit to remove in a GTR? Is is similar to the R33 headunit guide posted in this forum?

R32 is pretty much straight froward

1. pull up the gear boot plastic trim and take out the ash tray there should be 4 screws 2 behind the ash tray and 2 under the shifter boot

2. then the surround peice should come off

3. there is a bracket holding the HU in 6 screws hold this in, 3 on each side

4. the whole lot should slide out and thats it

i can take pics but mine will be a litle bit different because i have modified my dash

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
