epix
Hi guys, I remember a RACQ guy rescue me once and he jump stated my car by attaching the cables to somethings under my bonnet. My car battery is in the back. Anyone know what he did there? (1993 R33 GTS-t) Thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/289000-jump-start/ Share on other sites
ZENNON
you sure? maybe he had ground on chassis somewhere and jumped the starter motor directly but that's a bit dodgy.. Edit: Friend just told me usually if battery is in the boot you have distribution terminals in the front Don't know if this is the case with 33s but maybe it is which means he would have just used them.. r33cruiser
Yes thats the easiest way to do it. U use the power cables from the fusebox, and there is a earth. its a flange of metal sticking up infront of the strut tower, it will have a (-) on it. BstewyR33
if your battery is in your boot, then you should have something that looks like this in your engine bay Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/289000-jump-start/#findComment-4839643 Share on other sites

Col-GTSX
worth noting, there is usually a plastic cover over his area with jap writing all over it... you need to remove this cover (by hand, just pops up when pulled from the right side) and you will see what the photo above looks like... and yes if you pull hard enough you will go blind and think you have an rb26 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/289000-jump-start/#findComment-4840486 Share on other sites
