the consult port is on the drivers side in the fuse box (a bit above above the accelerator pedal)

as for oils, really depends on what type of driving you are going to do. do a search, there are plenty of threads on it. as for filters, i just used a ryco filter on mine.

Hey my car misfires alot, when i pull the engine to the max it seriously misfires, and when I try overtaking cars in the highway it doesn't stop misfiring, sometimes the boost starts pumping up and the rpm starts dropping no matter what I do till the car slows down, I have stock headers, turbo, trubo dump pipe, down pipe and suddenly a 3 inch exhaust pipe.

I changed my fuel pump, my plugs, my airflow meter which helped for a coupe of days but then it started again.

Help!!! when I start the a/c my engine starts stalling, and at idle my engine starts to dying out especially with a/c.

I broke my hoses that carry oil from above the engine where do i get the newer one?

Waiting for reply,

Falah

ok, well the missfire isn't going to be helped by having a broken breather hose. i would go to your spare parts store and take the old hose in and get a piece of hose as close to the original as possible.

then i would look at the coil packs. they are probably stuffed and the major cause of the missfire.

as for the idle not being any good when the aircon is turned on, i would clean the AAC and IAC valves. do a search on here and you should find info on where they are located and how to clean them

This guy is right on the money. The heater hose and AAC clean are both easy to do and all up with running around might take half of your saturday. The coilpacks (taking out, inspecting, and taping/siliconing together) would take the rest of your saturday hahaha. A day well spent I'd say.

    • Let's hope that's not a copy pump either. There were so many copies of them back in the day.
    • Damn it, I was at work last night, and stayed in a room there during the storm with the car outside, but undercover, I just went downstairs and well....there was a large steel locker that has come from some place last night, it wasn't anywhere I could see yesterday, and yeap, it landed on the fraking car....of course it did..... LOL So, I'll need to take it back for paint and panel, luckily it was only the boot that took the hit, so it could have been worse Serves me right for staying at work and getting on the cans with some of the boys
    • Yeah, really happy with how it all turned out As for aftermarket lip, nah, I'm not really a fan for practically reasons on a street car that gets driven everywhere  I did have the full lower kit on my 2015 STI, but found the front lip scrapped alot, even at stock 4x4ish ride height As the NC sits now, with the lowest point of the car at 110mm, so just legal, some steep driveways and steep speed humps will still "just" scrap those little plastic OEM air dam thingies on the undertray just before the front wheels
    • Here's one I help build and tuned a decade ago, Garrett  GTX3071R Gen 1, T3 twin scroll 0.83 rear housing. Went from larger 272 cams down to smaller Tomei Poncams to help with the low end. S13 non VCT motor. Car was purpose built for the track, hence low down was the focus. Note the actual dyno chart shows lower boost, however the EBC and boost gauge showed 1.9Bar (Ignore the torque, I was young and didn't know how to set derived torque)
