Wtf

I was browsing Youtube today and found this

Adding acetone to your petrol tank seems like an insane idea. Then i did a bit of research, and found out that it's a known fact. I was stoked.

Check these out :

Lol I kinda like the smell of manicure shops!

In all seriousness though, nevermind the performance gain, I'm more interested in the fuel saving benefit.

I just don't understand how it works. Is it the same as putting a higher octane fuel in your car? Or is it just a dumb idea?

question is, do all the people out there on the internet posting 'reviews' that it did not do any side effect to the engine, have been doing it long enough and keeping their car long enough to make sure it didn't actually kill your engine after perhaps 3 or 5 or 10 years??

guess the best way to test it out is someone with good knowledge with our fuel line system,

and somehow obtain the rubber components (liek o-rings) from the fuel line and dump into 1:320 or 1:160 (acetone:fuel) solution and check any swelling~
