Front Tyre Rubbing Badly Against Something

[R-SPEC]

ok car is an r34 coupe, front rims are 18x8 +30

only the front driver side tyre rubs against something on full lock only when turning right

ive had a quick look around the inside of the guard but couldnt see anything sticking out etc

wtf is it? sometimes it even takes out small chunks of the tyre/rubber when turning right on full lock at speed

any ideas?

could be guard or suspension components

surely there would be a mark sum where if it takes chunks of tyre out

Best thing to do is jack the front up, get someone to full lock it to the right and see then. Else take the wheel off and look for a suspension component that is suspiciously polished from the rubber-metal contact.

Could be caster rod or your guard.

is the car lowered at all? with the wheels u got on it and that offset i wreckon its the plastic inner guard grinding away.... happened to mine when i got it lowered i just took the wheel off and cut the inner plastic guard where it was rubbing...

spray inside the wheel well... and all arms and stuff black... go for a strap... check under and see where its rubbed off.
