hahah - i guess it just goes to show that despite all the modifying that goes on here and everywhere with Skylines, how we never/rarely see threads where someones done a few things and find they have NO engine left. hehe, go the RB's!!! And other parts, diff, box, clutch etc...

moral of story.... don't buy a WRX (or go to MRT it seems)

EDIT: I would actually love to have a WRX, pre bug eye era, but they just seem too....fragile and not very hardy.

Seriously... That's like a Mastercard as gone wrong!!!

Fuel rail - $930

Motec - $4070

Tune - $900-$1200

The look on your face when you realise you've just been violated anally by a 5" MRT cat-back exhaust - $PRICELESS.

hahahahha, THAT IS priceless!! :D

WRXs are a good package, they are no Skyline though.

People run into trouble when they try and stretch the boxer power plant far beyond what it can handle.

Remember it is already running quite high boost compared to a Skyline.

One of the great strengths of the 'Line is its response to mods, long live the Skyline.

In fact, as a 2L unit they are one of the lowest specific power output engines on the market in NA form (was 88kW).

Can someone remind us what an EVO and STi run as far as boost pressures go?????
