Brisbane - Need To Get Some Suspension Work Done On The Cheap

Hey guys,

Something wasn't right in my suspension setup as the front left wheel was a fair bit lower than the front right and the tyre was scraping hardcore on the guard... took it into Pedders for a check and found the following:

1) Upper arm bushes collapsed

2) Castor bushes severely torn

I was quoted $682.00 to supply and fit the parts, which I reckon is a complete rort.

* Urethane Radius rod bush - $104

* Urethane Alignment bush - $218

* Fitting - $218

* Wheel alignment - $75

Can anyone help out with cheap supply / fitment of said parts? I can get a wheel alignment sorted myself.

To start with, you haven't even stated what car you drive so its hard for anyone to give their opinion.

Secondly, the prices you have listed are normal if your car is a 32 or 33 GTST/GTR.

2.5 hrs labour to fit is normal also so I don't know what you think is wrong with the quote?

Sorry, fitting was quoted at $285 not $218.

Car is an R32 GTS-T.

I was actually going to give you a call Dan and see if you could help me out in said matter

Save money and do the work yourself. Pull out the arm, get them to put in the bushes if they need to be pressed in. Reinstall and get them to do a wheel alignment. Ask if you can get a trade discount to lower price. Or go somewhere else and shop around...
