Just the other day when we had that dust storm car behaved a bit weird .. throttle got stuck at 2000rpm once like it couldn't idle prperly and then a while later SLIP light came on.

I connected the nissan consult and checked for error codes and it showed 'code 17' .. but I can't find that code anywhere and I've googled and searched here as well. After resetting the ecu it hasn't logged any errors since so I'm thinking it was probably something to do with that dust everywhere .. but I don't think it's my air intake as the filter looks clean

Howdy,

Assuming you are talking about the R34 gtt, error code 17 is as follows:

ABS-TCS Control unit circuit:

Throttle unit detects malfunction in system (open throttle sensor harness etc)

TCS/ABS control unit detects malfunction.

Thanks mate .. I do always switch TCS off via button when I jump in the car so maybe after a few hundred times of having pushed that button it's starting to dislike me doing that ?? Or could this have something to do with the dust the other day
