yeah my tip is its a prick of a job, give it to a workshop  you need to press the bushes out of the front of the diff which means somehow supporting the whole heavy thing at the same time. thats after the stuffing around on the ground to remove it, and before the pain of getting it back into place.

let someone with a hoist and proper press do it.

I've used noltec and superpro ones and can't tell the difference

Duncan is right!

However, if you want to do it yourself, this is how I did it:

-it is a diff out job, yes

-drill out the rubber

-use a screwdriver and carefully fold in the flange on the bush

-spray with a s**tload of crc and leave it to penetrate

-work them out with a hammer and screwdriver

It is not pretty, fun or quick. I thought the neighbours were going to call the cops as I was screaming f'n c's all weekend!

I am going to go with the Unique Autosports bushes and make up some new inner sleeves out of stainless steel.

Mike

i was thinking going with unique bushing as well , you get everything you need with them by looks of things

i guess allow 2-3 hours for installation of this?

once diff is out any other maintenance that can be done at same time?

With the Unique option you do not get the inner steel section of the bush you have to re-use the old ones. I f**ked mine up trying to get them out, so getting new ones machined up.

Have not got to the installation part, but it took me a whole weekend to get the subframe bushes and the diff bushes out the subframe (having regular breaks to regain my sanity).

2-3hrs? Not a chance.

i was thinking diff bushes only not sub frame tho, or does sub frame have to come out as well?

does anyone else include inner steel sections .....whiteline or superpro ?

You have to pull the subframe out.

No I do not think so, otherwise you can always buy OEM but you are up for over $140ea.
