Problem With Electrical (brake Light)

hi ya all

got a little problem (hopefully) with the brake light.

basically what happened is that one of the brake light connector (the two pins or what you call it that get in conact to the globe) had gone missing so what I did was put some solder in it and works fine all good but what happened after that is the other brake light globe next to it was brighter then the rest "not the one i ve fixed". After that was playing with the car a bit then battery had gone dead, charge it start it up then now the brake light had started playing up.

when ever the headlight is on there is no brake light even when I press the brake pedal nothing but when the headlight is off the brake light is off.

I ve check the wires nothing seem to be burnt and have checked the fuses and all good.

Is there anything I ve missed?

NOTE WHEN I DID THE SOLDERING THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY WAS DISCONNECTED FROM THE CAR
