To stroke out a RB30 to over 3.1L requires a bit of dough aswell doesn't it? I remember reading RIPS doing the 3.4L (thick it was a 3.4L) and it didn't sound cheap.

spoolup is working on 3.3L and 3.4L stroker kits for the RB30's. initial figures aren't cheap but neither are the RB26 stroker kits.

Ok, So the OP wants 600kw (flywheel or atw we don't know) for a track car.

That's just excessive. You'll be breaking traction on RE55's all the way, take the power down a little and work on something that is going to benefit your track car, like canards / diffusers / or even a hollinger, if you have the money for it.

Canards and diffusers are for delicate show ponies. Theres a gazillion things you would do before those three.

There won't be any problem putting the 5-600kw to use on the track if the GTR is well maintained.

Cubes and small-ish twin turbo will certainly help.

The cooling system may not cope though.
