sdc01
Hi all The other night a cooler pipe became disconnected whilst driving. I drove home about another 40kms. I obvioulsly had no boost. I changed the hose the next day to a silicon one. Ever since then once the engine reaches 4-5k rpm it kind of splutters whilst the revs increase. I'm just weandering if driving with a disconnected cooler hose has affected the AFR or could it be something else? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/289686-driving-with-a-cooler-pipe-that-came-off-afr-issues/ Share on other sites
mad082
the disconnect cooler hose wouldn't have altered the settings of the ecu much, but it probably fouled the plugs from it running as rich as anything. new set of spark plugs should sort it out. also this should've been posted in the turbo section Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/289686-driving-with-a-cooler-pipe-that-came-off-afr-issues/#findComment-4849996 Share on other sites
PandaR33
100% plugs, try startting it and give it some big! revs in nutrel. if that doesnt work you will have to change the plugs. but dont bother with the irridum ones just get the normal ngk ones.
