1 Week Break, Suggest Where To Go!

I was thinking of visiting Sugarloaf Reservoir since it isn't all that far and do some trout fishin as well.

And, what are some of the other places i can visit? Not too far i guess, a maximum of 2 to 3 hours drive. We're planning on leaving tomorrow or wed, since these are the only 2 days the weather will be less wet.

Try Cape Schanck and surrounding areas for a day trip. Its pretty close. I went there last weekend when the weather was better.

i would suggest yarra glen and helseville to hit the wineries. You could also stay at yerrin station. I love it there really beautiful and the weather will be right.

Venus Bay / Tarwin Lower.

some gooood driving roads / winding bends

+ it's not bad for fishing.

+ nice local pub / food.

Lol, i went to the GOR less than 2 months back, so i went to Eildon as planned, fished at the Eildon trout farm, wanted to try out the pondage itself but didn't have the time, we had fun with the non-stop bites. Well, the fish were charged per kg, but it was fun, and now my freezer is full of trout. Will check out Venus Bay the next break!
