That too, I set all FPS games to hard on the first go now, and the last 10 Ive bought I've soared through with very little repetition, but even playing older games seem longer even when you're flying through them.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 must have been..literally 3-4 hours at the most, it was f**kin' epic but very short.

For me, I don't like short games. The COD series (well MW1 and MW2) are extermelly short for my liking. I like a nice decent game with nice amount of time...I'm currently playing Borderlands and Assassin's Creed 2 and liking it so far.

But for me, If I sit down and start playing Emprie Total War or Football Manager...say goodbye to at least 4-5 hours

The problem is, once a company has been there done that, they have to try and come up with something new. As we adapt to the game styles, we can beat games quicker than before. Now that isn't to say the game companys haven't been getting lazy.

A perfect example is Duke Nukem. A game that could have been great if they released it when they were using the Quake 2 engine. They had the storyline, and most of it done, but then worried that the engine wasn't the way to go because it wasn't the latest and greatest. Look where they are now.
