Just tried the rims of my 32, ROH DriftR's on an earlier ford fairlane like el or some such

wouldnt fit due to pressed ring in the center of the rims

skyline was 66mm ford 71ish centers

by taking the pressed ring out it would have fit

offset was wrong though for the ford

later ford has more offset and sposedly okay

I've fitted a Ford wheel to a R34 temporarily as a spare (In this case an AU wheel). They work, same pcd etc, offsets will vary I guess depending on the wheel, meaning potential brake, strut or guard clearance issues, but they're generally similar and they will boltup OK.

The Fords have a bigger hub though, resulting in a gap between the skylines hub and the centre of the wheel, so when the wheel is on the cars weight will be resting on the studs, not the hub. It will work, but buyer beware, this is bad from a mechanical and certainly a safety perspective.

i run R34 GTR rims on my falcon (FG) ... had to get the hubs bored out.

same PCD.

early fords have the +6 offset, AU-FG have +36 offset.

regarding brake clearance,

any FPV rim will clear brembos

a few XR rims clear brembos, most dont.

I have ford rims on my 33 ( dominators i think they are ) they do line up ok and there is fark all brake clearance can barely get the width of a key in the gap. I was told that I should get some hub rings for the gap difference. Then they said that because the rims are new they should be ok.

dude if the wheel centre is bigger than the hub you should get the hub rings immediately and not drive around with the wheels resting on your studs .. thats why you hear of wheels flying off cars every once in a while killing someone.

If you've been driving it like that for a while I'd probably get the studs replaced as they're most likely stressed now and will break eventually. I have NO IDEA why they/you think the wheels being new makes any difference in that regard. It's nothing to do with wheels being new or old, you don't want the wheel resting on your studs.

My DTM wheels left a small 2-3mm gap around the wheel hub but I put hub rings immediately and they fit on perfectly.

i ran r34 wheels on the magna. had to bore the centre hole out by about 1mm in total. they sat out a little bit wider than the stock wheels.

all falcons are 5 x 114.3, but as said, offset varies. early stuff was extremely small offset. AU onwards is pretty close to skyline. also so is late mitsubishi (magna and 380) and toyota (camry) 5 stud stuff as far as i'm aware
