erm... When I said my brakes don't fade.. .I lied.. :D

I just took the car for a spin to try and get them to fade.

Initially from a 180km/h brake I can still lock the brakes on demand at what ever speed. be it 40km/h or 120km/h.

The second stop at first I can lock the brakes if need be but as the speed decreases to around 80km/h I have to stomp on the brakes pretty hard to lock them.

The third stop will pull up fine from 180km/h however i cannot lock them at all.

The fourth stop i can start to feel a bit of fade as the car feels like it is sliding (typical brake fade)

Fifth stop... pulled up ok but not really that quick. I pushed as much as I could within reason however there was no way I would stop quick a corner was approaching.

I happened to look down at my side mirror and I notice a little bit of smoke from the pads/disk area from the rear wheels as were the front wheels. Very smelly.

The brakes do not fade as quickly as conventional commodore brakes. With the old VS one second you had brakes the next second you had nothing. At least I get a bit of warning.

I will definately be upgrading disks and pads.
