Trouble With Rb26dett Motor Boosting

hi all i have just finished my rb26dett conversion into my vl commodore (VL2NV) the motor is running fine the wiring is complete and all is working..but there is no boost.... i have the standered computer in the car at the moment so i could plug it into the diagno to make sure all sensors and etc are working before i upgrade.. has anyone herd or been in this situation with one of these motors?.....or does anyone have advice on how to get the boost back as it has 0 boost... i live on the central coast of nsw and am looking for a mechanic that maybe able to help too..... thanks (vl2nv)

How are you determining that it has no boost? If you are simply free-revving the engine, then it is highly improbable that you will generate any boost. If you are driving and it gets no boost, then it is highly probable that one or more of the intercooler pipe joins has come adrift.

yer it is when i drive the car that there is no boost...it has a boost gauge and has boost controll all wired and hooked up right by the mechanic..the car will drive ok till it gets up to were boost would kick in and wont open up...no boost... it wont even rev but when it is in netural it will rev.. i have checked.. all the intercooler piping, the intakes for rags that may have been left in the piping also the turbos to make sure they are spinning and not ceesed up, ive checked the lines.. its a sad situation as i have just spent 10k on getting the motor into the car running and 5 hrs before i pick it up they ring and tell me there is no booost.. so i picked the car up and drove it home and now it sits in my garage till i can sort the problem out.. not happy..

So, you have a stock ECU - is everything else on the engine stock?

yer mate the motor was brought stock from itchban motor import traders syd... 2 mechanics are looking at it tomoz to c if the turbos have let go or what...
