Hi,

I am looking for suitable material to use (other than mesh) to fill up the holes in the front lower splitter on my stagea. I am trying to make it look professional and I can't find suitable material that is stronger than mesh. Preferably I want them filled out so the grill material is flush with the front edge of the left, centre and right holes in the splitter.

Are there any pre-built inserts for the splitter I could buy?

Or does anyone have an idea of a good material to use that I could get custom fabricated to fit?

Thanks for your ideas.

Are you wanting to block off the airflow or retain it? If the latter there is a wide variety of mesh like material available. I know of a place in my city to get it so I imagine if you phoned around a few engineers supplies shops you should be able to find something to your liking.

Thanks for replying.

I want to retain the airflow. I'm in Ireland - not too many Stagea's here - and the materials for this sort of thing seem to be chicken-wire ... not nice.

I'm looking for something similar to that used in the rear-end of a murcielago ... I know it sounds far-fetched but it would look the business in those air-holes in the Stagea front-splitter.

See attached.

Step1: Find a friendly surgeon who is willing to remove any non-vital internal organs you can spare.

Step2: Give Lambo parts a call (preferably in a seated position)

Step3: use organs as a downpayment for mesh, and get Lambo to agree to accept your firstborn child for the remainder

Step4: fit mesh.

Alternatively, a decent metalworker could probably create something similar in the right dimensions, but I imagine it would be at significant cost...

hay eru you should be able to get something simular from a sheetmetal supplyer . i know here in australia they make a product that is made from stainless steel and it comes in diffrent grades (ie shinyness ) .

I only found one on Aus Ebay, in Taiwan. But heaps on the US site. Search for perforated mesh or round hole mesh. I dont like the expanded mesh personally.

I love the rims on that Murcielago.
