Immobilising Not Alarming

Hey guys,

I had a mongoose m80g and greddy turbo timer put into my r34 gtt skyline a few weeks ago and have noticed that when I lock the doors with the engine still running (on turbo timer), the system will automatically immobilise 30seconds after the engine turns off, but the alarm doesn't activate. Is this normal?

do u lock the car with the remote??

if you lock the car with the remote whilst engine is stil running it should arm the alarm just not immobilise it, then once the turbo timer turns of the immobiliser should kick in
