Power Fc Repair

Hi Guys.

I have had my Power FC just recently repaired in my r34 gtt and it had the main CPU board replaced.

I was led to believe that when this is replaced you lose your tune/map and the car will need to be retuned.

When i reinstalled it the same map was still in it along with all the other settings.

Has anybody had there PFC repaired before and come across this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a friend with a buggered FC, where did you manage to get it repaired? and also what cost?

Also what symptoms did it have that alerted you that it was broken?

The eprom has your tune in it...not the main board...thats why you still have all your data.

usual issue is the eccs relay not being activated by the ecu. The power fc can be fixed with the chip out of a rb25 std ecu. plenty of info on the forum
