google vertical hood....go on i dare ya

its pretty easy theres two little tabs on the hindge which bottom out at full extension... i used a hammer and chisel to bend these back. some ppl cut them off but the beauty of bending them back is that they still provide friction when u go past the normal point.

some updates!

I got some clear headlight covers from http://www.2-up.com.au/ and the quality is awesome.. got to work on the old lights getting the lenses off and that was fun thats for sure. put the covers on and they fit perfect. sealed them up and let them set then chucked them on today along with new front bar.

looks a lot better now thats for sure just gotta get some corner lights!

got a new Gate as well as some poncams. will be putting them in and then hitting up winton very soon.

pretty cool build.

I have the same sort of setup. s14 series 1, r33 rb25 with 3037s, makes 296rwhp on 15psi. hope to see this at winton for drift attack!

Yeah I'll be there mate. Just got retune with poncams and now makes 330 rwkw and near 600 nm torque!!! Goes well lol

full boost at 3400 rpm. .63 rear housing using 100 ron fuel. and yeah the poncams retain the VCT.. is sweet!

hey simon. i would have thought you would have the .81 housing but guessing the .63 is what helps with response? im just in the process of getting a new turbo setup. manifold and gate are sorted but im trying to select the best turbo combination to keep good response.

at the moment we have decided on a GT3076R with the serge compressor housing and a .63 rear. but im am concerned that it wont flow enough.

depends on what your end power goals are... the .63 does 300 rwkw no worries at all.. has all the responce in the world. i love it! dont need to rev the shit out of it to get power u can just ride the fat torque band in the midrange.
