Car broken into, stereo stolen, dash trashed.......time to vent

Recommended Posts

G'day All,

Well, phuck it, guess it was bound to happen to me, but my car was broken into day, and yeah, as you can imagine phucken pissed off right now.

To make matters worse, my car was parked in the office 'secure' car park...........yeah secure my phucken ass, and yeah, after a shitty day at work....not impressed at all right now.

So is there anything which I can do.....police statement has been taken down, but I'm not holding my breath. Phck I have a thirst for revenge right now, but yeah, going to have to conseed to the fact that I can only try to repair whats damaged, and yeah, try to make my car right again.

So what happened?? Had my car parked at 300 LaTrobe st Melb in the Wilsons car park. (where I work) came back to find damn, my passenger window looks light (tinted as it should be)

Jaw dropped, glass everywhere, looked at the dash. Surround was snapped and ripped off. Panel around the auto t-bar ripped off and all scratched up........wires everywhere........ what else can i say........these guys seemed like professionals, there was other stuff of value, but i guess luckily, they just went for the deck, and nothing more.

So guys, if oyu see a Pioneer DEH8400 (american version of the 8450) the volume dial scratched up, for sale......meet the seller, and beat the phuck out of him.........I'm mean literally phucken kill the sonofabitch

Anyway, looking forward, if anyboyd has the following, please pm me as I desperately need the following for a R33 GTST:

left passenger window

dash surround (the one that goes all around the dash.......beside steering column, around the stereo, climate control etc

gear shift for automatic surround

Please excuse my grammar, (see thread in Wasteland forum) just cant be assed writing properly, but yes, if you have any of these parts available I would extremely greatful

shouldnt security car park have cameras?

did they charge you for parking in the secure parking? if they did get it back because they did **** all of a job, and ask to see cameras, if no camera's, suspect inside job, or just suspect anyone and **** them over some how

yeah, good idea sars.....mine was in the boot......stupid i know......and yeah, they new where else to look. fortunately nothing else of value was stolen............sars i guess you can check it out yourself when you check out the pod filter

autotrust are you there............i presume no doors were open so no alarm went off...

car wasnt stolen, if thats any consolation and yes I could see the key barrel being tampered with.

Phuck the skyline curse............yeah not much luck of late, but refuse to let some phucker ruinmy car, and make me scared of putting nice things in it..........so the way I see it, phuck it, and I'm going to get something better!.........could be hard and pricey upgrading a pioneer 8400 tho.......

Sorry to hear Scotty

Have you spoken to Wilson parking? If more than one car was hit on the same day - the Police might be investigating a little harder than usual.

Scotty, I feel sick :spew: , another skyline trashed for the deck. Depending on what they broke the window with depends on whether the shock sensor would have picked it up, if you have one. maybe a paging alarm is in order, you would have to be sure that you park within it's range to be effective. Tracking systems are too expensive and it can take 5 mins for them to call you if they get an alarm. Not many wreckers in melb have skyline parts at the moment, but this place may,TOP jap autos 9791 1811 (dandy) i don't like these guys due to their phone manner but if they have parts who cares right.Let me know if i can help, good luck with your repairs. :headshot:

G'day Autotrust, gave the guys a call in dandy, and yeah, phucken phone manner was atrocious! Couldn't even understand him.......anyway, all he's got is the glass.......$150!! phuck!!

Hey, I'm going to gaffa's tonight, hopefully he can help me at least pull my door apart and clean all the glass shards that have fallen through.

Pushhead.......thanks for your comments bud.....as the saying goes, when it rains it pours.......and of late a lot, and I mean ALOT of money has been pouring out of my wallet. *sigh* So how can I beat these phuckrs!

All those apparent secure carparks are farking useless.

They make so much $$ everyday, yet pay the workers there peanuts thats y they dont give a shit even if they hear a car alarm go off they wont get off their asses to go check.

I suspect an inside job if u park there everyday and didnt have an alarm.

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
