A Little Confused

i was looking at pics of z32 afm's and was looking at buying one but the afm on my car looks like one allready, ive got an '92 r32 gts-t type-m, im confused because everybody lists the z32 afm as a mod do they look the same and have diferant internals or something.

The Z32 is from the 300zx and it's able to flow more air vs the voltage range it reports to the ECU

the Z32 is orange label and the R32 GTST is green/blue label so if you have orange label, you have a Z32 already

Yeah its a mod, but more for big power builds. it looks the same but just lets a lot more air in, and you will have to get you car tuned to deal with it, u jus cant put it on

EDIT* hey Paul, i got a '93 S1 r33 but got s pink label which i beleive is series 2) afm. does it work the same or will it affect anything?

so if i was to put an aftermarket ecu on my 32 would it be better to put a z32 on rather than keep standard as i am aiming for 250kw in the near future?

It is physically the same size so it can't let more air in. The Z32 AFM can READ more air which is what you need when upgrading turbos etc.
