hey guys, do any of you know how to cut the bonnet of a r32 to fit a gtr grille?

if so, can you help me out please... also, do any of you know where to purchase an aftermarket one of these?

well

it's best you dont cut the bonnet

and get a proper R32 GTR bonnet and grille combo

ask Just Jap or similar, or any other parts importer about it. Kabab has this on his R32 GTST looks prety good

yes but, the thing is that an extra bonnet costs more damn money, i might leave it till i get extra money... see what happens.

Cutting the bonnet is fine as long as you get a nice straight cut and seal and repaint it all properly afterwards so it doesn't rust. My R32 had the bonnet cut and a GTR grille in.

you gotta get a GTR bonnet, they are SO DAMN light!!!

god knows how much a wrecker would want for one but id see in the mark of 1k or so *shrug*

also look for people whom have done rb26dett conversions, maybe they have the bonnet and grille lying around if they put it into a VL for example.

why would i bother getting a gtr bonet for 1k, when for just under that i can have a gtr carbon one from UAS....

geeez.. yeah i cant spend that much money on it either.. but if i find a suitcase full of money, ill get it done ok.

I have this done on my car. The bonnet was cut by a panel beater, fixed up and painted. They just cut straight across at the front.

I have seen some cars from japan come over with it cut. Done by a home job also. It was all jaggered and bit dangerous but worked fine. You can't see that it's been cut unless you open the bonnet.

As for the grill it costs about $400 or so from Nissan. Just keep looking out for a secondhand one on these forums. They do come up every now and then
