hi, i just noticed the top of the drivers side A pillar getting wet in a decent downpour -- anybody had the problem.... there's two sunroofs on the arx -- wish it had none!

u want to change roof skins?

ill take your sunroof if you dont want it

have a look at your sunroof drain channel,

A pillar off, you should see a tube going from the sunroof down the A pillar and out of the car

i had the same problem in my daily driver u13 bluebird. just used a straightened wire coat hanger and pushed it down the drain tube as pictured above. then flushed it with the hose when allot of muddy crap came out of the bottom (just behind front wheel behind the guard) and never leaked again.

happens especially if you have a few dry months and a dusty climate, then it rains. clogs up.

My old next door neighbour worked at a large dealership and said it was a common thing on even new cars, and the owners would freak out and take it in for warranty. lol

...and later on, don't park it under pine/gum trees (which may have happened in Japan under pine trees) as the sap sticks to the channels and the dirt sticks to the sap!

funny thing - my ex wife had a real volvo [ with sunroof] that rusted so bad on the A pillar the rozzers wrote it off the road!
