GTR-N1
The car's registration papers Troy, will tell you what the seating capacity is, and what it will always be; unless you make radical changes and register it anew with alterations approved. TwoCents
My r33 S1 1995, has 5 seats all with buckles etc even tho 3 adults sitting in the back would be hell uncomfortable. Edit: 2 door coupe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/291691-skyline-seat-capacity-help/#findComment-4876578 Share on other sites

Guilt-Toy
take the back seat out, and look under the seat. alot of the time they are too lazy to put the middle seat belt through the seat as its a pain in the ass. every r33 coupe i have seen have been 5 seaters. krzysiu
My r33 is registered as a 4 seater. Depends on who complies the car whether they put in a middle seatbelt or not. Technically they are designed as a 4 seater because it would be hell uncomfortable to sit on that middle bump LOL (Coupe) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/291691-skyline-seat-capacity-help/#findComment-4876671 Share on other sites
UnCo
I was surprised when I pulled out my rear seat and found a 5th seatbelt neatly tucked under there. My other mate pulled out his GT-T rear seat and had the same score! Not that I'd ever use it or want it to be used.. I want to have some kind of view out of my rear vision mirror! bozodos
there is seriously no point in trying to carry 5 people in a skyline (especially an R32, mine is a 4 seater, but a mates is a 5 seater so im guessing compliancers choice?) BundyBear
The center rear belt in my R33 S2 is an optional upgrade, which i has and is stamped 5 seater my mates doesn't and is stamped 4 (He'll be looking under that seat soon) I think it comes down to when the importer looks in the back and sees a belt or not Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/291691-skyline-seat-capacity-help/#findComment-4959650 Share on other sites
