Advise Request - Rb25det Won't Start

Hey All,

Just replaced my

head gasket - minor leak

timing belt

and all other gaskets/seals on the endeavor.

Now my engine will turn over but won't start. Have checked

- Fuel - Def getting to rail and could smell fuel fumes in cylinder with spark plug out

- Spark - Tested it grounded to manifold collector

- Crank Angle Sensor - Tried rotating it incase of timing issue, no change.

With no change.

Any suggestions?

are all plugs getting spark? are the coils plugged in in the correct order? what condition are the plugs in?

the plugs were oily but i cleaned them up and i only checked 3 of them (randomly) and they were sparking. Might try them all

check that the belt hasnt jumped any teeth. will do that if not tensioned correctly

I've heard of that happening too, probably a good easy place to start.

all other sensors etc plugged in?

spray carby cleaner in the intake ( into the plenum past the throttle body) - if it coughs into life your injectors prob arent plugged in, or the fuel lines are around the wrong way

Will check with some start ya bastard.

Before putting on the cases i twisted the crank pully around a few rotations to check for if it would skip any teeth but will check again just to be sure.

Craved hit the nail on the head, in my retardation i got the fuel lines round the wrong way...lol

Engine runs sweet except for maybe a belt or two a bit tight and had to re-oil the cams.
