Hey Craig, do you still have any spare turbo's to suit RB20? I think my ceffy needs a new one, it makes one hell of a bad scream on anymore than 10psi
Will a RB25 turbo fit? I have the one off my car...not sure if i will need to keep it in-case i get defected.

they sure do and a RB25 one is better as the RB20 can run more boost through it before the ceramic wheel shatters

Na sorry Chad, they both sold...

but do what the others said, 25 turbs on a 20 is a good upgrade.

hey that reminds me, i gotta come pick up that fuel pump, unless you will be needing it for the ceffy now?

I'll probably just use the RB20 turbo that i have in my shed for now then go for something with a steel wheel later on.

I'll try have a look and see what sort of pump is in the ceffy 2moro and if its only got a stocker then i'll probably need to chuck in the 040.

How much do you want for it, i need a standard RB25 turbo to get the 25>180sx conversion engineered. It one of the last parts i need.

Chad i ended up with that TD06-17c but it's too laggy for a RB20. You wouldn't be seeing full boost until 4500+ RPM but it will support up to 275kw.

I dont exactly want to sell it as i MAY need it to clear a defect if i get done, and i don't want to go hunting for one. As i am not using it, i am willing to lend for awhile.

Any idea what kind of power the Cef is making Chad?

Eh, bought myself a weekend project. Silly thing is that this car is getting done quicker than my driven car. Had a base idea of an all white 32 gtr, with some white rims, which i love.

Ended up looking like this as of 20 minutes ago.

Just wanted to get a general opinion from you guys.

So I've been driving manual for well over a year now. I have been told different stories on what gear to use while cruising down the road at 60 (or 66 :) ) km/h. I've generally gone to fifth gear as I've heard that it saves petrol, but I've heard other stories telling me that it's not so good for the engine. What's the general concensus out there?

Was walking down hindley around 3am this morning. I see the undercovers 4wd, cops jump out to help with this fight. One guy who was involved in the fight runs off towards me and 5 cops chase after him down hindley. My mate kicks the guy in the leg, slows him down abit, cops still chasing him, tackle him from behind and the guy goes straight to the ground. Everyone cheers.

Was fun to watch this guy get decked.

Thats my exciting night :)

Why? I have an 040 ready to go in.

oh npz :geek::)

so long as the engine is not laboring it shouldn't do damage but as for saving you fuel that's an urban myth. i used to do the same but don't any more

if you're not labouring it, use 5th

ive gone back to that in my fourby, gets me an extra 100km out of a tank easy just doing that

Not quite sure how you came to that conclusion, 5th gear at 60 is using fewer revs then 4th gear at 60 hance lower revs = less fuel used
