Are you ok Cara? Any updates on your friend?

Sorry to hear about the cars involved but your health and your friend's health are way more important. I hope everything works out ok.

my friend had surgery on his back today not sure what for, and i dont know whats happening but im going to the hospital tomorow to see him

As i have just admitted to being a cheap-ass in The Spotted Thread I am going to post an interesting link, Here, to rebuilding brake calipers - As i am replacing my Pads, Rotors, and going Braided Lines for the Track Day, I may as well renew the calipers too.

I did the caliper seals, makes a load of difference.... 20 yr old calipers vs as new... no contest

I'll stop whoring it up in the spotted thread, that DIY looks good. extremes are good if your good to them lol

Yeah, ATM i am going easy on it as i am "bedding in" the clutch and new flywheel.

Only thing I dont like about mine is it doesnt fully disengage the gearbox when it gets alot of heat into it. As for pedal feel? A few members here have driven my car and they have all said it has a great pedal...

EDIT: If you want to hear something really interesting, give Jim Berry a call and ask him about his opinion of Extreme Clutches...

Definitely not a good thing.

should i set the day aside for the call or?..

well back from Canberra/Sydney had an awesome time

only saw about 5 skylines and about 3 coppers so that's a great ratio

sorry to hear of your accident Cara, hope your mate recovers well

why dont you get the R Vu your looking for a 32

ive had my current Extreme in for about 14 months i think

i know its not a skyline people, but your a pretty switched on bunch of peepz,

does anyone know the stuf pattern size for a rx7 series 4 and what other car rims will fit on here.

I have searched google no results, asked mates they all look at me like im planning on giving the thing a good hiding it deserves. p.s sorry bout bad spelling had a few too many. need to get some stockies or decent type rims, and no i wont be doing burnouts on the road, i got no licence to do that anyway.

He won't get one... hes so worried about it not being the perfect one that he'll never actually find a GT-R aha

perfection only goes so far as your wallet allows

note the aus delivered r32 gtr and the one with less than 10,000km milage being advertised on carsales, but each one was over $40k ($65k for the aus delivered one)

If he wants perfect, he will need to increase his budget substantially...

EDIT: Beaten by Dohmar

i think 13k is worth the risk that it might be a genuine sale fly to Perth have a look @ it buy it and put it on the train for home then spend $1000 change all fluids and get leak down and compression tests done so you know what your dealing with

if it has poor compression drive it easy if its all good smile all the way to the track

EDIT

if i had the abilities to acquire 13k i would snap it up today

I totally agree with both dohmar and heslo, hence why I spent the amount of money on my GT-R that I did. I can see that GT-R being a nugget and chewing a bearing straight away, personally I'd steer clear.

its not too bad, tho you're right about the engine, you'd probably want to rebuild the engine straight away for peace of mind, or just strip the car down as much as possible and use it as a track mule till it breaks

i wouldn't mind a 2nd gtr which I can nick parts off

-D

Edit - Having had a look at the pictures, the engine bay looks like its in pretty decent nick and the interior looks good too (no tell-tale bubble on the dashboard)

If your budget was $25k, then getting this one for $13k and spending $12k on replacement parts would be a fun thing to do
