Hey anyone know much about bikes here (possibly ruby, although im talking lil stuff around bikes here)

im planning on getting my mate a pit bike trial bike thingo to use on his farm. doesn’t need to be fast just aslong as it go's and we only light weights so doesn’t need any power.

was looking at possibly one of these but not really sure just yet.

any bought any of them?

Get one with a Lifan 140cc motor if you can. See my mate Brian at East 50s if you can. He sells better bikes than ebay. Or if ur going ebay, try looking for DHZ bikes.

What is the reason for only looking at Duel Solenoid EBC's?

Turbosmart E-Boost 2 would be my choice (infact i bought one a few months to replace my DSBC) but they aren't duel solenoid and they don't need to be.

Looked into E boost 2, but at near on $1,000 I'd rather a cheaper option that does exactly the same job.

I don't know much about EBC's, but from my understanding the duel solenoid is better for controlling and holding the boost. Last thing I want is it spiking or dropping off later in the rev range.

Dales right, no need for dual solenoid. Picked up one of the new Eboost Street for the R last year, think it was around $450 not long after release.

    • No, with a twin plate clutch flywheels and clutch pressure plate/friction disks go together. Only clutch where that isn't the case is the Uniclutch but they currently don't make a pull version for the Getrag R34, just some other cars. Personally the flywheel is as light as I'd want it to be. It already drops revs faster than I want to shift normally and I blip the throttle again to rev match on upshifts.
    • Are there any other lighter flywheels that can be used with nismo coppermix twinplate system? Id like to gave the revs pick up faster than oem
    • RB20/25 covers don’t have threaded fasteners stock like RB26 covers. They are blind rivets so I will need to drill out and tap threads. I bought some M4x6mm button heads and will report back once done if I chose correctly length wise.    have also got some loctite
    • Interesting. I've not dived into the cleanliness of the factory CAS. I'm curious if the variations are less of an issue if the OEM sensor were brand new. Optical sensors if they're starting to get dirt and crap into them as they're getting older would definitely cause issues as they age.   It's an interesting point to keep in the back of mind for me though
    • Hmm. Tough one. Without knowing where the conductivity value is supposed to sit, it's hard to know whether a standard DMM set to an available ohms setting would be able to measure anything. Ohms being the inverse of what we're talkng about and probably good enough for the girls I go out with. But if you want to go all hoity toity with a 4 wire rig - go ahead. It can only be more accurate - just in case more accuracy or repeatability turns out to be required. If you're going to the effort, just go chuck the ohm-mage probes into the car's reservoir and see if you can measure anything at all?
