Fitted my front new coilovers today (rears to be fitted when my knuckles recover) and a cute little lip spoiler. Enjoy.

The super low pics are from initial install - obviously it is not like that anymore :( It now has a healthy 340mm wheel centre to guard legal gap to keep me off the speed humps and spoon drains

f**k, thats retarded, youve scraped on shit at normal height, good thing youre not running it that low, barely be able to drive it.

Yeah James, it is hard to believe that I have already fitted 20mm spacers at the front and 25mm spacers to the rear.

seriously? can hardly tell. stupid v35/z33/34's, got mass amounts of room under the guards.

Nah mate I am not keeping the stock rims (despite the fact I think they are among the sexiest stock rims on the planet), but am trying to decide between the rims below.

I trial fitted the GT-Cs on my car and are my dream rim, but they are expensive.

The LMGT4s on the 350Z and V35 are my current faves (the pics on the 350Z are 18" x 9.5 +20 which is my preferred offset).

The AME Circlars are long time fave rims (I used to have some without so much dish on my R34).

from that list... id go with the nismos.

... but id also suggest meisters or professors, equips, vs-xx's, or if the budget (and wife) permit, bbs lm's.

Or maybe I'm just in the wrong game. If I could get $50 ph at a full time rate (without being a self proprieter) I'd count myself as very lucky indeed. Worth considering changing professions too, provided it doesnt require a uni course.

wrong game.

that being said, id be over the f**kin moon earning $25/hour. i reckon ill head back to school when im back form my travels, being a pleb blows.

yeah. i have to chiggidy check myself before i wriggidy wreck myself sometimes, makes me appreciate the $35ph rates when Im a contractor, but on the same token a lesser rate but more workers rights would be better in the long term.

Now, if only I can find myself the next decent contract. Being unemployed over the last 2 months is a serious cock blocker

Maybe I just have a skewed perspective of incomes from having lived in Melbourne/Sydney and working IT (primarily UNIX sysadmin, Cisco net engineer, etc). To me, $45-50/hr (at a full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week) doesn't seem that unusual - but I guess looking at it more realistically, it's right out of the ball-park for most people...

it's not actually Dan.

The National average full time adult wage for 2009 based on a 38 hour week was just under $1300 pw in the private sector and just over that in the public sector.......that's about $34 per hour.

You Accountants would easily be doing that, lol

I earn decent coin for my age and i wish i was even close to that. That makes $67,600, lusty.

Love your avatar Scandy - I didn't know you are a Firefly fan .... one of my fave shows

And yes I am with the majority - last I heard the average wage in SA is around $35k. There aren't many people at all (comparatively speaking) earning $67k+. And I agree with Dohmar - being a contractor sucks. One one hand it LOOKS like I earn shitloads, but when you take into account all of the things he listed (he failed to mention the cost of incorporating, company fees, trust maintenance etc associated with being a sole trader), than take tax off on top, my gross shoots down to nearly 1/2 of what it started at :D

Average starting salary in the public sector for university graduates is $40K per year inc tax and super. Thats where I started off in the private sector. Thankfully my loyalty has paid off over the 10+ year being here, and I'm earning above the $67K mentioned ... but I certainly wouldn't call it an "average" salary or wage. With a big mortgage and race projects, my income doesn't go far. People will always adjust their lifestyle and spending to their income, no matter what it is.

lol Roo, you're supposed to change gears

Get on the bike forums and go second hand mate

Already found another engine (less pistons) in QLD for $300. I'll use the two engines to make one good one.

what about a brand new hayabusa engine? :D i hear theyre rather ballsy...

I'd like to go around corners Ben  ... and keep the bike light for fast cornering speeds :/

Thats certainly true about the lifestyle adapting to income. Uni graduates start much higher as they have their hecs debt plus they need to show something for (x) years of study. One of the reasons GPs (Doctors) get paid nicely is due to the 8 years required to do their Bsc/Mbbs, more so for specialists who take another 4-7 years on top of that - Which is why you find most specialists only start practicing in their early 30's..

Also re jmw's statement about earning cash in Melb and Syd, you get paid much more in those two cities due to the cost of living increase. A $65k job here in adelaide will probably be equal to $85k in Sydney, and I certainly wouldn't want to live in Syd or Melb so I'm happy sticking here on my Adelaide level wage.

    • They should do. I have S14 (or something S chassis, anyway) driveshafts in my R32 (because my diff flanges have 3x2). They're the right length. When you go looking for R32/3/4 driveshafts (for turbos), they're all the same thing, so are the same length. So there really shouldn't be any reason why those cheapies from JJ won't also fit an R34. R32/3 NA should also be the same thing. The (3x the price) D-Max ones are uni-fit. They have 5x1 and 3x2 bolt holes and say they cover all the cars. So that would also suggest that they are all the same except for the flanges. And in that case, the flange goes both ways. I'd be buying the D-Max ones if I ever have to replace a shaft. Because that will open up diff options without needing to juggle shafts also. Juggling shafts is gay.
    • Yeah with the adaptors they do look like the photo above - just the fitment within the plenum itself and then further with the rail to the intake is questionable - we shall see tomorrow hopefully once I get some replies from Aeroflow, maybe those bosses are the missing piece....
    • Should be fine, if you have it sitting too far in, you end up just spraying the walls and have shit idle. You "can" run them like that, however I don't think it's a great idea (also depends on your plenum, might be good to just get the injector bosses first, mock it up and see if you need to get the bottom extension) Ideally your injectors, with the extension should look like this  (Not my photos, just Google)
    • Thanks for the replies guys, it's really appreciated.  It seems the kit was supposed to come with those injector bosses but hasn't. Unsure if they'll help as even with the adaptors to make them a 3/4 height injector they still sit too far out so mount the fuel rail?
    • Hello, I am looking to replace my two rear drive shafts in my R34 N/A Skyline but I'm finding conflicting information. Do S13/S14/S15 or R32 NA/ R33 NA fit? https://justjap.com/products/gsp-premium-rear-drive-shaft-l-h-nissan-silvia-s13-s14-s15-3x2-type?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqY7EwDaYCUoUU3mxxZ_qrUXkVVHiV4MIN7ozoar6scjnEiekv- would this fit?
