Well my R34 is sold pending full payment. It hasnt sunk in just yet because its still in the driveway.

I picked up my mums Hyandai SX coupe to borrow and cried because it makes my car seem like a dream car.

Well I have been thinking about whats next...

2000 model R34GT-T

2001 200 SX

2001 Silvia

2002 WRX or possibly an EVO

So in other words im pretty undecided! I just want something a bit newer then what I had. I find it hard to justify paying an extra 7k to buy the same as what I had, but turbo.

This looks decent.

I dont know heaps about Evos but I can always learn.

That looks really really nice, massive fan!

Despite needing a decent buff lol.

I agree with you in that, if you sell a car to move on all together, spending another 7k for a GTT is a bit meh.

When I sell up on the 32-R I'll probably go something totally different again and go rotor. Brap brap brap :P

I'm not sure how the import process works in detail but it does seem like a pretty lengthy wait with a bit of risk attached to it. Not sure how the bank would like it either... (I'm going to have the cash from my car but im going to the bank for the full amount (to get low interest) then chucking my $ on the loan after.

I did speak with the guys at Pitlane briefly about importing, the prices were pretty decent!

Honestly if you want an evo, get Iron Chef to bring one over for you. Hes had some evo8s up for near on $20k del.

That one was an exception to the rule :P Nice Evo 7s can be had around the $21-22K mark though. Awesome car for the money.

And totally OT - JMW... CHOCO-BANANA!!

"Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God."

There are many flaws in that argument Steve, but surely even you recognise that 'God' is a word that men (as it probably wasn't women) created to describe events that they couldn't understand. For the above statement to hold true God would have to be measurable like light and heat.

Also you can watch evolution at work by studying a virus (although there is some debate as to whether viruses can be considered a form of life or something that exists at the edge of life).

Is that a personal loan or car loan i was pretty sure most banks wont touch imports with car loans but a lancer they might be happy with

Edit the evidence of God is signs and wonder's commonly called miracles, but that requires faith.

    • You've given zero info about your setup. Step 1: make sure all the standard equipment are working as they should. If they're not, go investigate why. Step 2: Make sure all your wiring is done properly. Know which RB20 you have, most likely "silvertop" a.k.a R32/A31 anything after 1989. Step 3: make sure your ECU is tuned properly. Standard will barely run in this situation.
    • Depending on your use case, prop valve will almost always be a better choice.
    • I think... in the US, Silvermax is the equivalent of BC Racing, i.e. cheap Taiwanese built suspension that gets turned for "local" conditions. Back in the day in Australia, you could get MCA street for about $1300 and they were awesome. Don't know about now... In saying that, my real world TEIN experience: I got some street basis z for my old Liberty (BR9), and they were awesome ($800-odd delivered from demon-tweeks in the UK). so Don't discount TEIN
    • yeah my RedBull X2010 on Grand Valley is only good enough for bronze... I can't hit silver arrgh.
    • 100% this. Long ago, I had a guy from the R31 club who set my BNR32 up (adjustable arms all round). He did an awesome job, was an after-work kinda thing where I had to bring a slab of beer. My car never drove better, and I stupidly got a random tyre shop to check the toe angles when I changed tyres, and they ruined the alignment. tl:dr- it takes a lot of skill to set up your car lowered from factory properly, and is worth paying the $200+ it takes.
