I just cooked and ate what might be the best brunch burger ever:

3 x 70g farm laid eggs (2 sunny side up, 1 turned {to melt the cheese on in the pan})

4 eye rashers bacon

4 large slices of smiley face fritz (fried of course)

2 slices matured cheese

bbq sauce, home made tomato sauce

fresh large sesame seeded hamburger bun

ground salt and pepper

Cook up, intermittently layer decoratively, eat.

Wish I had taken a photo

That certainly is one sweet looking chicken schnitzel burger!!!!

18kg in 6 weeks is unbelievable Dale - nice work!

Believe it or not my burger was part of my current diet too - I call it the 'KFC' diet - but some know it as the 'no carbs' diet. The only things with carbs in that burger are the buns - and I can deal with those 30g carbs for lunch. Last time I did the no carbs diet (well severely limited carbs anyhow) I lost 12gk in about 3 months. I have hit the diet again hard core after my very damaging summer season - where I put all of the 12kg back on :D .... I know nothing but excess unfortunately .... but I am trying to change my ways. Smaller serves, less carbs, more water .... well have lost 3 kg so far this week, so am happy.

Don't feel too bad, I'm on a diet ATM so i have a Kate Morgan shake for lunch.

But i have lost 18Kg's in 6 weeks so far so it's not for nothing.

What do you eat for meals like dinner etc?

Well done Dale. I've lost some weight (about 7-8 kgs) this year. Slowly put the weight on after becoming inactive due to a bike crash. Got tired of what I saw in the mirror. So I started hitting up the protein drinks as a substitute for a meal. Then really started getting back into training and hitting the weights at home. I'm back down to a more Ruby-friendly 75kg rather than 83kg. I would have lost more, but been turning most fat into muscle.

:D

People look like they have aids if they loose too much weight and don't replace it with muscle. I've lost 20kg in the passed year along with weight training so I have no idea how much actual fat i've lsot but as a total on the scales, lost 20kg. Since loosing my license I have had to quit my gym membership and look at alternatives at home, which is a massive struggle.

    • I find it funny that the USA is finding out all this really really weird stuff, and people from the USA are coming here treating it like gospel, yet, all the info on solving those issues is here on these forums for the last 15 odd years... Also, I know how much heat it takes to ignite the hood lining of an R33 skyline. I worked it out myself... It also took a LOT of time, and heat for it to do it... Big single, and I needed to drive the car, so retarded the timing off to "protect it". Yeah, that was a bad move for cruising on a freeway with only 15 degrees of timing on it. That was a lesson I learned around 2009. So that's over 15 odd years ago. Aligning water and oil, that's identical for any turbo engine, it's not Japanese specific. If a shop doesn't know how to make sure the core is rotated the right way, then they shouldn't be touching any turbo engine. That's not a matter of "We haven't had Skylines for that long here"...
    • Sounds like it is rotational in the driveline. CV? Tailshaft CB? Also.....didn't you just pay to have that bit painted and put on the car?
    • Yeah, when I dialled my idle down, given how much time I spent idling at the lights in traffic on my daily commute, the effect on overall fuel consumption was absolutely noticeable.
    • Emissions, fuel consumption, heat, noise, etc. most likely.
    • For me at least the reason why it bothers me is because it's indicative of a deeper problem. And that will nag at me forever. Especially because I have tailpipe emissions testing + evap leak testing every 2 years.
