and the original F1 GP game, way kewl, had williams, mcclaren and ferrari. and all the computer cars drove at specified distances from each other lol

The Original f1 GP i remember was in EGA.

Its was called GPEGA.

Good game too it had the Honda f1 with a 1.5 litre 1500hp engine.

Remember when VGa fist came out? It was like wow! and then Super VGA? It was like double wow. And these days VGA has been forgotten and its all talk about geforce etc.

dos games ruled!

Larry, space quest, kings quest series, captain comic!

monochrome screen and the game digger i was addicted.

oh i had test drive and test drive 2

i'm getting goose bumps thinking about all this kewl stuff.

Oh man Digger was the bomb! It was played in CGA for me and if you press f1 you can shoot one shot per life. heheheh.

Street Rod is da bomb too man.

For you guys who dont know what street rod is then you should check it out.

Old school American cars setup beautifully in the 60s and you do up your car including buying supercharger or better carbie etc and then drag people that you m eet at the local burger joint.s Its awesome!!!!

Double Dragon2 is one of my favourites. That game was one of the first fighting games to introduce the helicopter kick! Damn awesome game and now Jimmy and Bill Lee instead of wearing red and blue they wore silver and dark grey. they looked awesome.

Testdrive was cool too when choosing the cars. Do any of you guys remember the little plane game called sopwith on PC?

Larry has got to be the best though. Get laid with prostitute and dont use a condom and your cock explodes.hehehehe

Nah could never beat the king. The bastard and his awesome black looking corvette. In Street Rod 2 the Kings car looked even better.

What about the aqua duct race like gease lighting? My girfriends bro is really good at that and made a ton of money hehehe.

My favorite car is the mighty Charger. it looks so damn hot!.

Hey nikil what about the game that everybody had on their pc Alley Cat?

Yeah firepower rock nikil!

two players in tanks in topview versing each other was awesome!!!

You can lay mines or just blow them up. Good trick was to lay mines right outside their base so as soon as they die and start agin they cant leave the base or they will blow up.hehehe

Oh Minh that list brings back some memories

Captain Comic!!! That was a long while ago.. i remember when we got our STATE of the art 286 i couldnt stop playing that.

As well a game called QUAKE on the XT. Yes believe it or not i played quake in the mid 80s

Baal, bloodmoney, keen, ahh the good old days....

/me wipes back tears

I was back in highschool during the 286 and 386 days etc. Pcs were just getting started and anything new was like a wow to me. I remember the days when my friend bought wing commander and we thought this was gods gift to us. I was trading master system games with my friends too.

Man, I thought i was the only one to play ALLEY CAT!!!

that music still beeps and bleeps in my head on occasion! LOL

Didi any1 else have Striker? it was a helicopter game

and an even older game NETHACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good old ascii characters for graphics!

Here's My favorite game ever. if ur looking for something old but great check out this one CASTLE check it out! i recommend it! :)

Matboy I love striker! It was one of my favourite too. I had it in CGA .

As I had a IBM pc jr with no HD and only running at 4.7 mhz.

I loved Sopwith! And castle was cool too. You go too drifferent rooms on an adventure and collect things and fight monsters. That game was well ahead of its time!

    • This was a huge help.  We followed the steps,  although shifting into 2nd was actually into 3rd for us,  and 1st was into 2nd ( steps 9 and 11) .  The long flash was the 4th flash.  So shift solenoid A is possibly the culprit.  Is this inside the transmission itself? Or is it accessible by just front the pan? Or is it bolted to the outside of the transmission?  Thanos for your help everyone
    • Can you enlighten me on your best practice regarding these hoses? I don't wanna make the same mistake if you already got a better solution.
    • I have some silicon hoses already, for example engine to watercooler. But yeah, I get the sentiment. The lower intercooler silicon hose is drippy too, despite not being very old. Does anyone except Nismo make these same lines out of rubber? Long term I think they'd be the better replacement, especially since the car won't live as hard a life anymore as in the past nor be driven as often.
    • I know most issues are just age related. But for example the turbo oil drains, there is dash adapters for these and you can just make a braided teflon line for them and (probably) never have them leak again. Also not terribly expensive. Can you even get the factory hardlines from new? Or are they repairable if they break?
    • I know it'd be much much easier with the tool. I hope I can find one that won't take 3 weeks to get to me an isn't a "Asian models kit" that has tons of (to me) useless adapters for a load of cash.   It's a summer project/fun car. I do wanna enjoy it, without endless downtime over and over. So yeah I would even go and buy an engine crane + stand to save myself the trouble of hard to reach or unreachable places going bad later on. Would also be a good opportunity to put on a Fluidamper, renew the mains seals and stuff like that. I have some money on the side that I can use for that, what I wouldn't want to or be able to do is let everything be done by a shop or have my engine completely rebuild right now. I intend to do most of the "doable" jobs myself. Pulling an engine can't be that hard, can it?
