Some Advice Please

hey a i got series 1 skyline and im in a bit of a rebuilding process. have put in new cams, pistons, headgasket. now i want to replace the turbo. i got the standard one but i was wanting to bump up the power a bit. are the r33 gtr turbos the same as gtst or what model are they. would u recommend a better garrett. im not looking for huge power just want a nice 250-300 rwkw. can any1 help me. thanks. also any more tips on refreshing the motor?

HKS GT2835 ideal RB25 bolt-on for 250-300. Another good option would be a Garrett GT3071R on stock manifold with an external wastegate flange welded on or one of the new garrett internal gate gt30 housings.

are the turbos on ebay any good. ranged around 800 bucks

i have hks gtrs turbo on mine they are a good turbo for that power range

rubbish, don't bother with ebay turbos unless you want to replace it every 3 months

yeah thats what i thought too. hmm. any other turbos around other than the two that have been mentioned. any advice if the gtr turbo any good for an upgrade?

gtr has 2 smaller turbo's

thats a no go...

search "hks 2835 pro s" and look up the results....

i have 285rwkw with one and a lot of supporting mods
