I recently installed a test pipe on my car. Instead drilling a hole in the test pipe and fitting the rear O2 sensor into it, I just disconnected it plug and all. Will this hurt anything being that the sensor just measure exhuast temp?

Its not an 02 sensor. Its a cat temp sensor. Basically tells you when the cat it blocked.

Its fine to leave it out. Either find the plug under the passenger seat and remove it, or just hose clamp it to the exhaust.

Mine is just wedged under the exhaust shield.

Thanks man, that is what I thought/hoped. Plus I have a wideband and exhuast temp already installed on the car.
