I've noticed on my GCG supplied GT3076R 0.82 AR IW, that the rod connecting to the waste gate lever isn't dead square or perpendicular to the can.

I don't exactly know how these diaphragms work and my question is:

Does this effect the operation in any way ?

I currently have boost drop issues .

This actuator is only the 7psi one, I'm waiting on the 18psi large can from the States and want to make sure it's installed properly.

Cheers

Yea, a bend in the actuator rod is fine from what i've been told.

It's more important that the rod come out of the actuator at a 90 degree angle, so a bend was probably necessary to keep that angle so it can function correctly, while actually enabling it to connect to the waste gate.

If your not sure, you can get an air compressor and slowly put pressure into the actuator so u can watch it slowly open, but i'd imagine it's fine if you have no other reason to suspect a problem
