That's fair, I can see both points. I get enthusiastic when I see the FS section has a new post and want to see what interesting thing someone is selling. Then I get deflated it's a bump of a 10 year old post. Ha ha -

Hey, I understand this is a skyline forum but I was hoping someone might be able to help me out here. Got an ‘84 M10 Prairie with an E15S that I’m trying to get running again after replacing a head gasket. I’m having some struggles with vacuum lines after replacing a couple perished ones. They’re all set up like in the diagram I’ve attached. I’ve tried starting the motor and my carb backfires a bit but no luck getting it to run. Theres a 2nd port on the back of the carb that isn’t mentioned in the diagrams, right next to what I believe would be the idle screw (sorry I’m no good with carbs) - should this be attached to any lines? any help would be greatly appreciated, I’m sick of pulling my hair out trying to figure this thing out 🤝🏼
