but those are hard to find here in Canada, and postage from Aus of Jap is a killer

what are other applications is there for R33 GTR sized rotors?? north american wize (we don't have holdens, except for pontiac G8, hehe)

i played around with DBAs online catalog, and can't find anything with the same dimension

any help is appreciated !!

Here in Australia the DBA slotted rotors cost is very close to importing Project Mu rotors from Japan, if I had the choice I would import Jap Rotors. Hope this is useful:

RDA grooved/dimpled + slotted is: F=7701G 324mm, R=7702G 300mm

RDA slotted: F=7701S 324mm, R=7702S 300mm

DBA slotted 4000 series: Front: "DBA 4928" 324mm x 30mm Rear: "DBA 4929" 300mm x 22mm

Project Mu (Nengun have them as well): http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpar...at=Brake+Rotors

Nissan, Nismo, APP, Biot, Project Mu & Trust/Greddy: http://www.rhdjapan.com/home/search/search...rotor&go=Go!

350Z's with brembos use a different offset to the hub, think they're like 49mm where R33/34 GTR's are like 53mm, would have been your best option for a local product. But no luck there....

thats what i checked first, and saw the difference in hub size :)

and about importing rotors from japan or australia its a big no no cost wize

see, i can pick up blank Brembos for Z32/BNR32 for 55$ each !!!! from a local supplier

so spending 400$+ (with postage) per rotor just for the 28mm difference seems like a waiste

but there's a Canadian compagny who makes a conversion kit http://amszstore.com/main/product_info.php?products_id=223

very reasonnable price, but their rotors seem very cheap, and since i'll be doing alot of track racing again next summer, i want something that will hold its on

anyway, thanks for the help guys!

i think i'll just ask a canadian jdm importer to pick some up for me next time he goes to japan

worst case i'll buy the canadian kit, and break some stuff again

    • Ha ha, that is very true!  I'm too scared to leave it in the position though, it tingles my balls seeing it like that!
    • Which one did you buy? I have always wanted a decent inspection camera but have been unable to tell whether something is cheap junk or cheap junk chunk sold at just a bigger markup
    • Ha ha ha! I know those feels mate I've finally got the garage cleared enough that next weekend I'll do some actual work on my car (hopefully). Unfortunately garage isn't usable after 10am at the moment That said, I've done a lot of work this weekend on helping finalise a friend's Production Race car. Full started Christmas Eve. We're down to about 8 tasks on the list, including "get a wheel alignment". Sometimes it's just easier working on someone else's car or project than our own stuff 😛
    • Ha ha, ended up going it alone.  I just sent it (in a very nervous fashion).  Once I'd released the locks and it didn't automatically start spinning out of control i felt a bit more confident.   It made some loud sounds (cracking and creaking noises) when I first spun it which got the heart rate going again!  I couldn't bring myself to leave it tipped on the side.  I feel a bit more comfortable having back right side up while it sits there. I'd get angry with your last point but you're 100% correct! 😅 Even yesterday I managed to distract myself at numerous times to make a bracket to fit an LED flood light off the back of the house and fix my sons pushbike.  There were other little taks nibbling at my brain for the rest of the day too...
    • Probably one of the more nerve wracking experiences of my entire life! 😂😂 The balance (centre of gravity) is out still but in a direction that gives me comfort!   It's quite bottom heavy still meaning it takes a bit of muscle to rotate it.  The plus side of that is that it wants to to go back to upright.  Better that than wanting to go all stranded turtle on me!
